Classes start September 6 (No classes Monday, Sep 6, for Labor Day)

Please read over the dress code and studio policy.

Please remember to not overbook yourself. Attendance is taken in each class. You need to make it to your classes and be ready when class starts in order to learn, improve, and not fall behind.  Students must attend 80% of their classes to be in performances except in extreme cases due to long illnesses or long absences from the country. If injured, observe class and take notes. Attending class is a necessary part of learning and improving.

The Winter show will be a Snow White Christmas. Runthroughs for the December show will be Mondays in November. It is for all classes. Please add these dates to your calendar in addition to your usual classes.
  Block out these dates on your calendar in addition to your usual classes: 
                      Runthroughs at the studio on Mondays, Nov 7, 14, 21, and 28
                            - be already dressed, in the studio, and ready to go by 5:30
                      Dress Rehearsal Dec 1
                      Performances Dec 2 & 3.

Northern Plains Cecchetti Fall Weekend Workshop

The fall workshop is in Sioux Falls at Dance Gallery.

(Examinations take a lot of preparation depending on age & technique but normally 1-2 years is spent studying per grade. If you are interested in exams let us know. Grade 1 starts after the Primary levels which are for ages 5-9)

Classes Start in September

The 2016/2017 dance school year begins September 6 (see classes schedule).
     Early Registration is Saturday, August 6 from 1-4 pm at the studio.
     Registrations received by July 31st will receive a 5% discount on the first payment!    Cut off date for late registrations is September 30. No registrations will be taken again until January 2017.

Summer Classes Start Next Week!

Summer classes start next week!

Summer dance classes include Tuesday night Cecchetti Classes. Thursday night will be a special Worship Dance Choreography class. It is also open to college students. Plans are to form a worship dance team made up of participants in the class.

Registration forms will be available at the studio. Summer students will need to purchase a punch card which can be shared with another student or family member. The punch cards are $79.95 and they are good for seven classes. Classes are arranged in 2 week sessions mid June and July and early August. There are 12 classes in all but students may attend as many as possible when in town.

Cecchetti Grade III

   June 7 & 14 -- 5:30 to 7:00 pm

Worship Dance

   June 9 & 16 -- 5:30 to 7:00 pm

We will be in Sioux Falls for Dance Gallery's Summer Dance Intensive/Cecchetti Camp June 19-23. This is a wonderful in-state opportunity. Let Ms Sunny know if you are thinking about going.
