Happy Spring!
The month of April is here and it will be our last full month of classes. We will be holding Monday night run-throughs for everyone in the show the first 3 Monday nights in May from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Classes will continue in May except for Pre Ballet which will only practice Monday nights. Costumes will be given out to parents at your child's last class in April.
CLASS FEES MUST BE PAID UP BEFORE YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR COSTUME.
Two Hosanna dancers and a former Hosanna dancer competed in the dance division of the Assembly of God State Fine Arts Competition. They were Kylie Varns, Annie Varns, and Natalie Hove. They received an Excellent Rating for their worship dance to "Motions." Ms. Sunny served as one of the 4 evaluators for dance for that event.
Ms. Sunny, Josh and Sarah Easter traveled to Sioux Falls March 2nd for Cecchetti training at
Dance Gallery with Ms. Jackie Kriens. They will be examining in that method on April 6. We are exposing our lower-level students and beginning adult students to this anatomical approach to ballet.
Ms. Sunny and some of the advanced students are once again planning to travel to Kansas City, MO, for the first week of the
Dramatic Truth Summer Intensive July 7-13. Applications are available at the studio and it is possible to pay the fee of $300 on line.
We are also working on the possibility of bringing Ballet Magnificat to Pierre in late September for a performance and 1-day workshop.
Two Summer Dance Camps will be offered and registration forms will be available at the studio in May: The 1st Camp will run from
June 3-28 and the 2nd Camp will run from
July 15-August 15 on
