We are a studio that teaches ballet. We use and teach dance vocabulary & technique. Technique is very important in learning ballet. Dancers are students. We come to ballet class to learn how to dance and not just to be in a bunch of dances/choreography. We do provide the opportunity for performance experience.

Studio History:
The move and name change from MainStreet Dance to Hosanna Dance happened in 2011 during the year of the Missouri River flooding. We moved out of the Ft Pierre studio on May 27, 2011, the day before having two performances of Peter Pan. A lot of our dancers were tired from sandbagging.
The following year (2011/2012) we held classes at the local YMCA.
We moved into the studio on Pleasant Dr in Pierre, May/June of 2012.
Hosanna Dance started teaching the Cecchetti Method in January 2013. Ms Sunny and Ms Sarah took their very first Cecchetti Grade One exam that spring (April 2013).
We moved to a larger multi-studio location at 119 N Deadwood St in Ft Pierre in the fall of 2017.
