Enjoy your summer!
Students must attend 80% of their classes to be in performances except in extreme cases due to injuries and long illnesses. (This works out to missing no more than 6 classes during the September through May year.) As it is incredibly important that students have at least one ballet class a week, students are invited to make up classes they have missed by taking an upper or lower-level ballet class. Hosanna Dance reserves the right to schedule extra rehearsals for performances with proper notice given and at no extra charge to parents. Upper-level students receive extra tutoring and private instruction through these rehearsals at no cost to parents.
Please do not overschedule yourself. You need to make it to your classes and be there on time for the whole year. To be on time you must make it to the studio before your class starts.
Enjoy your summer!

Studio Policy on Attendance
Let your teacher know in advance if you will miss a class, practice, or run-through. Examples of missing classes include mandatory school activities for a grade or medical issues like chickenpox. If we close for extreme weather we will post on our various outlets and notify. This is South Dakota. We still have class when it snows.Students must attend 80% of their classes to be in performances except in extreme cases due to injuries and long illnesses.
